Puresoul 100% Australian Chick Peas
Chickpeas are a healthy choice that are very versatile and can be used in many dishes. High in fibre, they can help to lower blood glucose, may assist with reducing the absorption of cholesterol into the bloodstream, and the dietary fibre in chickpeas and their low glycemic index (GI) may also assist with weight loss by making you feel fuller for longer. They are a source of both soluble and dietary fibre, important for maintaining a healthy digestive system.
Puresoul 100% Australian Red Lentils
Red Split Lentils are one of the fastest cooking members of the lentil family. The do not need to be pre-soaked and, because they are split by removing the skins so they split naturally in half, they cook very quickly.
Lentils provide around 30% of their calories from protein making them a healthy choice. This means that lentils have the third-highest level of protein, by weight, of any legume or nut, after soybeans and hemp. Proteins include the essential amino acids isoleucine and lysine. Red Lentils also contain folate, vitamin B1, minerals and dietary fibre.
