Puresoul 100% Australian Red Lentils
Red Split Lentils are one of the fastest cooking members of the lentil family. The do not need to be pre-soaked and, because they are split by removing the skins so they split naturally in half, they cook very quickly.
Lentils provide around 30% of their calories from protein making them a healthy choice. This means that lentils have the third-highest level of protein, by weight, of any legume or nut, after soybeans and hemp. Proteins include the essential amino acids isoleucine and lysine.
